چکیده
In the last two decades, network science has blossomed and influenced various fields, such as statistical physics, computer science, biology sociology, from perspective of heterogeneous interaction patterns components composing complex systems. As a paradigm for random semi-random connectivity, percolation model plays key role in development its applications. On one hand, concepts analytical methods, emergence giant cluster, finite-size scaling, mean-field method, which are intimately related to theory, employed quantify solve some core problems networks. other insights into theory also facilitate understanding networked systems, robustness, epidemic spreading, vital node identification, community detection. Meanwhile, brings new issues itself, strong topological transition networks beyond pairwise interactions, cluster with mutual connections. So far, already percolated researches structure analysis dynamic modeling science. Understanding should help study many fields including still opening questions frontiers networks, temporal The intention this paper is offer an overview these applications, well basic on

Core percolation on complex networks
We analytically solve the core percolation problem for complex networks with arbitrary degree distributions. We find that purely scale-free networks have no core for any degree exponents. We show that for undirected networks if core percolation occurs then it is continuous while for directed networks it is discontinuous (and hybrid) if the in- and out-degree distributions differ. We also find t...
متن کاملPercolation of localized attack on complex networks
The robustness of complex networks against node failure and malicious attack has been of interest for decades, while most of the research has focused on random attack or hub-targeted attack. In many real-world scenarios, however, attacks are neither random nor hub-targeted, but localized, where a group of neighboring nodes in a network are attacked and fail. In this paper we develop a percolati...
متن کاملScalable percolation search on complex networks
We introduce a scalable searching protocol for locating and retrieving content in random networks with heavy-tailed and in particular power-law (PL) degree distributions. The proposed algorithm is capable of finding any content in the network with probability one in time O(logN), with a total traffic that provably scales sub-linearly with the network size,N. Unlike other proposed solutions, the...
